Murrah Buffalo

We are one of the main suppliers of the Murrah Buffalo, which originally comes from Haryana, although our Dairy Firm is located in Mehsana, Gujarat. The Murrah breed of water buffalo is the premier milking buffalo whose average body weight is 544.3 kg for male and 453.6 kg for female. They are mostly black in color, sometimes with white marks on face or legs and have curled horns. Rearing them has a special role as their husbandry is essentially very time-consuming and tough. They basically are nurtured as multi-purpose animals - for milk, meat and manual work. The quantity of daily lactation in the peak period is about 5-10 liters.
